Pom's Keyland ("the app") is a piano learning app for young children, made by Deniz Wong, 148 Horton Street, Fall River, MA 02723, USA ("we"). We built it so that children can play without anyone collecting information about them.
The short version
- No account, no login, no ads, no tracking, no analytics, no chat.
- Your child's progress, drawings and settings stay on your device.
- Purchases are handled by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check which chapters you own, with an anonymous ID.
- This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics. If you join the waitlist, we only use your email address to tell you when the app is available.
What stays on your device
The app stores the following only on the device, in the app's private storage protected by iOS: the age group you chose, the pompom color, play progress and which skills need more practice, drawings made in the app, and settings (subtitles, play time limit, volume). We never receive this information.
You can delete it at any time in the grown-ups area ("Delete all data") or by deleting the app. Deleting removes the profile, progress, stickers, garden, drawings and settings from the device; purchases are not affected and can be restored with "Restore purchases".
Purchases
Chapters 2 to 5 can be bought with in-app purchases. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see payment details or your Apple Account. To know which chapters are unlocked, the app uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA) with a random, anonymous app user ID. RevenueCat receives the purchase history from Apple and the anonymous ID, nothing else: no name, no email, no advertising identifier, no attributes. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy. [Retention period for RevenueCat data.]
Children's privacy (COPPA)
The app does not collect personal information from children. It has no microphone or camera access, no free text input for children and no way to contact anyone. The anonymous RevenueCat ID is used only to provide purchases (support for the internal operations of the app). Purchases and links are only available behind a parental gate.
This website
keyland.app runs on a server we rent from netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany, who acts as our processor. To deliver the pages, the server has to process your IP address and the request itself (page, time, browser identifier). We do not keep access logs. The website sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads no fonts or other content from third parties.
Waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we process your email address and the language of the page to send you one email when the app is available. We use double opt-in: you first get an email with a confirmation link, and only after you tap it are you on the list. The emails are sent on our behalf by Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany), which stores your address with the time of sign-up and confirmation as proof of your consent. To prevent abuse, our server keeps your IP address in memory for at most one hour.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to us. We delete the list after the launch email, and your address as soon as you unsubscribe.
Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct and delete personal data and to complain to a supervisory authority. As we do not hold personal data about you or your child, please contact us at info@keyndergarten.com with any question; for purchase data, we can ask RevenueCat to delete the record for an anonymous ID.
Changes
We will update this page if the app changes how it handles data and change the date above.
